Trevor’s various careers all involved constant mobility. This is reflected in his artwork which varies in subject and style, consistently evolving.

Sandra attended Greenock Academy and then studied at Glasgow School of Art, graduating with a BA Hons in Embroidered and Woven Textiles.

Sandra has exhibited successfully throughout Scotland, including at The Royal Glasgow Institute and Paisley Art Institute. She also has work in private collections internationally.
Sandra now lives in Glasgow.

Since Graduating from The Glasgow School of Art in 2005 with a BA hons Degree in Design with my specialised subject in Ceramics, I have worked in two well established potteries ie. Kylemore Abbey & Gardens co.Galway in Ireland & Argyll Pottery by Oban on the West Coast of Scotland.

In 2010 I set up my own workshop were I am developing work that is predominately thrown on the wheel using stoneware clay. Being born & bred on the West Coast my influences & inspiration mainly come from the ever changing scenery & the landscapes that surround me. Whether it be by shape or colour or just the atmosphere or mood, it is strongly reflected in the glazes I use & the shapes I make.

Born in Athens in 1942, George Printezis studied cinema staging and worked for the Greek film industry, as an asistant director.Since childhood he had a genuine talent for drawing and painting. In 1968, he moved to France following the Greek military coup. He worked for 3 years for Olympic Airways and that’s when he started painting.

He returned to Athens to get married and start his career at SABENA Airlines, where he became Assistant Station Manager. After 25 years with the Airline he was decorated by the Belgian Government for his services. At the same time he was painting and travelling around the world.

When retired, he moved to Scotland, mainly for family reasons (his only son was a lecturer at the Glasgow University).

He had a lot of solo and group exhibitions in Glasgow, Greenock, Blairmore, Arbroath, Athens and London. Many of his works belong to private collectors in Scotland, Greece, France, Germany, England and U.S.A.

The main characteristic of his work is colour, geometry and mathematics. Bright colours but not shocking. He also likes to ensure that no two works are the same. Sometimes he paints the frame or takes the image outside the frame. He always makes himself the difficult constructions especially the 3D ones.

Norman Laird studied architecture at Glasgow School of Art where drawing and painting were part of the study. He has been painting fulltime for many years and has developed his style through professional training and landscape painting at Glasgow School of Art.

The main inspiration for his paintings comes from the landscape and seascape of Argyll, the Scottish West Coast and Island scenery. His enjoyment comes from viewing the ever changing light and atmospheric changes over the structure of rocks, trees and hills.

Norman has exhibited in galleries throughout the West and North of Scotland together with the Edinburgh McMillan exhibitions, the Glasgow St Johns Association and solo exhibitions in various galleries.

Paul Murray graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1984 and has been painting, teaching and travelling ever since.

He uses drawn marks and collage to emphasise the textures and patterns within objects and scenes.

The pictures are mostly inspired by the landscapes and river activity around the artist’s Gourock home. However, inspiration has also been drawn from Paul’s travels in Europe and the Middle East; his work is represented in the private collection of the Bahrain Royal Family.
