Margaret has great joy in painting a wealth of varied subject matter and finding inspiration in general themes – focusing on light, shade, pattern, colour, atmosphere / chiaroscouro. No one subject provides the major source of
inspiration in her paintings. Of her passion she says ‘Art is everywhere – all around from the down trodden corner shop to the hills and trees of Tuscany. Everyday brings something new to experience – a touch of realism. I work primarily in oils, pastels and watercolour – I paint.’
